Buy and sell crypto
You can buy cryptocurrency with a credit or debit card (Visa and Mastercard) or via SEPA and SEPA Instant bank transfer. You choose the cryptocurrency, the amount and the payment method, and the funds go straight to your wallet. The whole process happens inside the app.
When you sell, you can choose to receive the amount in euros directly in your Bitnovo balance and withdraw whenever you want, or transfer it to your bank account via SEPA Instant.
Swap crypto
You can also swap one cryptocurrency for another directly in the app, without having to sell first and buy again. The process works like this: go to the “Swap” section, select the cryptocurrency you want to send and the one you want to receive, enter the amount and confirm. Before the transaction goes through, the app shows you the full breakdown, including the exchange rate at that moment, the Bitnovo fee and the network fee.
Swaps can be done within the same network or across different networks. Once confirmed, the funds arrive directly in your wallet.
Send and receive crypto
The wallet lets you send cryptocurrency to any wallet address, whether it belongs to another Bitnovo user or any external wallet compatible with the network of the cryptocurrency you want to transfer. The transaction is executed directly on the blockchain, meaning the funds go from your wallet to the recipient’s without Bitnovo holding them at any point.
To receive crypto, just share your wallet address or the corresponding QR code. You can receive crypto from any other wallet or exchange, regardless of which platform the sender uses.
Bitnovo vouchers
Bitnovo vouchers are a way to buy crypto with cash. You can find them at more than 40,000 points of sale across Spain and Europe, including Carrefour, Fnac, El Corte Inglés and Día supermarkets, as well as tobacconists and petrol stations. You can also buy them online on platforms like Dundle, Eneba, VidaPlayer, beCharge and G2A.
Once you have the voucher, you redeem it in Bitnovo Wallet. Go to the vouchers section, enter the code from your purchase receipt, choose the cryptocurrency you want to receive, and the balance is credited immediately to the wallet you specify. You can redeem several vouchers in the same transaction, which also reduces network fees.

The Bitnovo store
If you need to buy something, you can access the Bitnovo store, a marketplace where you can buy gift cards from brands using the crypto in your wallet. The catalogue covers a wide range of categories: travel, supermarkets, petrol stations, gaming, entertainment, technology, home and gifts, among others.
The process is straightforward: open the store, find the brand you’re looking for, choose the amount and select the cryptocurrency you want to pay with. Once the transaction is confirmed, the code appears in the My purchases section and you can use it just like any other gift card, online or in store.
Many of the available cards include cashback, which is credited directly to your wallet. Brands include Carrefour, Iberia, Renfe, Cinesa, IKEA, Smartbox, Toys R Us and many more, with options for Spain, Italy, France and the rest of Europe.
