How do you play on Sorare?

Starting your adventure is simple with Sorare. However, the game is open exclusively to individuals who possess a valid Sorare account. Participation in the game is prohibited if it infringes the Terms and Conditions or any agreement you have entered into with a third party:

• Register for free and create a team of players with NFT cards that you own. You can register with an email address, Google account, or Apple ID.

• If the name is available, you will move to the next step, where you will have to: Confirm that you are 16 years of age or older, it is the minimum age to play Sorare, accept Sorare’s Terms and Conditionsand Privacy Policy, choose whether you register with email, Google account, or Apple ID.
  
• Set a lineup and participate in a competition (competitions are played twice a week and you can join at any time).
• Track your team’s score, and win points and rewards based on real-world performance.
• Improve your team by buying, selling, and trading player cards on the Sorare market.
  
• Create your dream team. Really putting your skills as a manager to the test. Pay attention to player statistics, such as goals, assists, and defensive records. But don’t just look at the numbers, consider the player’s form, their injury history, and upcoming fixtures. Knowing how to combine stars and undervalued talents can be the key to achieving a balanced and successful team.

Your goal in the game is to use your knowledge and management strategies to create the best lineups with various Collectible Cards and/or Common Cards that represent professional athletes, enter the lineups in the Competitions to compete with other users and advance through the different levels of the game modes you participate in.

For each Competition, the number of Cards required and their respective positions are specified in the rules of that competition, available on the website and the application.

For example, the first lesson an ambitious manager learns in Sorare is that you cannot compete without respecting the formation requirements. In fact, the composition of your “Team” is a non-negotiable requirement that varies depending on the type of competition.

• If you aim for the Season Competitions, you must register a compact squad of five (5) player cards, which must necessarily include one (1) goalkeeper, one (1) defender, one (1) midfielder and one (1) forward, plus one (1) extra player to optimize your score.
• On the other hand, the Classic Competitionsdemand a firmer formation of seven (7) player cards, which translates to one (1) goalkeeper, two (2) defenders, two (2) midfielders and one (1) forward, also leaving one (1) extra player available for that final tactical adjustment.

In-Season and Classic

How Sorare monetizes and rewards

To obtain some rewards, users will need to activate all functions of their Cash Wallet, also known as the Default Wallet, or activate a Blockchain Wallet.

Users with a Cash Wallet and a Blockchain Wallet will be able to configure their preferences to receive rewards in their Preferred Currency or in crypto assets in their Wallets settings within their Accounts.

To earn money in the game, there are two common paths: obtaining returns from rewards and seeking advantages in trading.

• Trading. Spotting mispriced players and selling them for a profit in due time.

By the way, the prizes available for winners are communicated during the contest participation period on the website or application. The available prizes depend on the contest and may be based on:

• The final position of your team in the contest ranking.

Sorare may, at its sole discretion, offer the User the option to choose an alternative reward from a limited list of proposed prizes. The User retains the freedom to reject the alternative.

If you have not claimed your rewards within 14 calendar days from their distribution, or within any other period determined by Sorare and notified to you through the website or application, Sorare reserves the right to assign them automatically. Such rewards will be added directly to your Club, Wallet, or inventory, as applicable.

If you do not want a prize (product or experience) that you have legitimately won, you can reject it by replying to the notification email. If you reject it, you will not be entitled to any alternative prize or compensation. By rejecting it, you waive any right to it.

On the Secondary Market you can buy cards from current and past seasons, sold by other users. Prices vary according to scarcity, season, and accumulated XP.

Direct offers

Can’t find a specific card in auctions or on the secondary market? You can send a Direct Offer to the current owner.
You just have to search for the player, go to their page, and click on “Card Supply”. There you will see the available cards and the “Trade” button to make your direct offer.

How to sell cards on Sorare?

You can also sell your cards on the secondary market. It’s a good way to recover funds and get rid of cards you no longer use. Or maybe your player is on a hot streak and you want to take advantage of their great moment to earn good money.

How to do it?

• Go to “My Cards”
• Click on the card you wish to sell
• Select “List My Card”
• Choose the price and confirm
• Listed cards will be for sale for 7 days by default (you can adjust between 1 and 6 days).

If it doesn’t sell, it returns to your gallery and you can relist it — perhaps at a lower price. Or if you change your mind, you can cancel the sale at any time without penalty.
